Any experiance with, recomendations on; adding a "DC" cold plate to a in-deck fish box? I'm going through 200lbs of bag ice in a day (+18hrs) and its almost impossible to get large block ice "300lb" any more.

I don't think DC is the way to go with a cold plate. I have a AC watercooled system that is unbelievable. I have two cold plates on the box and I use a thermostat to control how cold I want it. I actually can't leave fish overnite in it as they will freeze solid. I mainly fish the Keys and the Bahamas and its great not to have to buy Ice.
