Ft LAuderdale Air and Sea Show Via Boat

Does anyone know if they are still allowing boats to anchor out of the beach and watch the air show? I know they have had problems in the past due to the large number of boats. It is a great air show but there is know way you want to be on the beach to watch it becuase there a too many people.

Just hope it is a calm sea .. you can still see it by boat ... but by the time the airshow starts .. the sun will be in your eyes all the time ... you have to get on the beach early in the morning to get a good place ... I always set up on the high tide line ... dig a moat and relax... love it when in the morning it is low tide ... and watch everyone move back in to the crowd ..when the tide rolls in .I always get a front row seat

Hi Shane ,,, it`s next weekend ...but they will be praciting all week so you can watch them also during the weekdays ,, not as crowded ...lost one after 5min ... two weeks ago... going out tonight ... on the Reellies ... might make it out in the morning and kill some mahi-mahi and a tile .. flat water means I can home in on a larger tile if I`m lucky, then head out and see if I can get a barrelfish and rosies... then if it all works out might hit the darkside Sat Night !
