I don't know David? I guess it would work OK. Here is the best boat I have ever Swordfished out of. She drifts beam to sea, stable as an oil rig, and can handle a lot more than I can.

That boat was kept down in Summerland Key, I remember seeing it down there. They also have a 23T Contender if I remember right.

Damn QQ, You sound like the guys on thehulltruth forum. That is me and 2 of The Beastie Girls fishing team. Take a look at Amy sliding up into the helm seat at the 35 second mark and taking the rest of the ride sitting down. I don't know of many CC boats that you can ride sitting down and we do that all the time. One of the girls on the team sleeps on the forward coffin box all the time in 3-4' seas on our way out. Do that on your boat. OH I FORGOT, you don't have one.

I only had the 33 for 2 weeks when they said "Lets get it on, we want it rough!" Believe it or not those were 4-6' December seas with a 15-20 knt NE wind, a couple days after a cold front passage. We were running 26 knts (30mph). I ran 30 minutes like that and finished 22 miles, 85 degree heading, off Pacific Light when they stopped filming me and went back to pick up the 270SD for their shoot. I ran the 270SF WorldCat for 6 years and was utterly impressed with this ride.

There is 2 reasons why the seas don't look that big. #1. The boat is huge!!!! The boat is 7' from the from the keel to the casting deck in the bow. Also, remember that it is not a water shot which would show the wave heights better. This was filmed with a chopper and at the lowest point was 30' above the water. #2. They slowed the film rate down on my video so you could see much clearer and easier, how the boat performs.

The 270 SD was filmed right after me and you can see the difference in the clips. He was supposed to run beside me and take some water shots but after 100yds he said "forget that, I can't keep up!" and pulled back on the throttles.

Check out the 270SD trying to run the same water at about 5 mph slower.

WorldCat has remarked to me many times that they will never shoot the 330TE or the 320EC again because of remarks like yours. These boats make it the seas look small and easy, making the videos almost unbelievable.

I know I will NEVER run another V-hull CC under 36feet.

I didn't mean to derail your thread David. If Stevie is still running "Hammer" you have the one of, if not, the best Captain/s in South Florida/Keys.

I meant it sarcasticly Jim I know how big those boats are and it was rough as chit out there. That boat ate it up and asked for more. You should have had a 36 contender run next to you to see the ride difference and the soaking they would have got.Not to mention the kidney transplants needed after that ride on there boat.Your boat looks great and if I had it I would most likely be fishing when every one else was still on the dock.

Check this out my last boat.http://www.motorboating.com/motorboa...074065,00.html
