Default Boat opinion, SeaCraft 32

Sea Craft 32

I've been trying to do research but can't find any info on the net and don't know of anyone who has owned one.

I especially encourage anyone with negative reviews but any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thks

I love the boat, but I think it is overpriced. It handles as good as the rest in my opinion, but for the money you can get a better boat...

The best thing I can say about the 32 is that it is an open transom.

Doesn't have all that extra bracket and outboard deck in the back.

That right there is the main reason I've been looking at the SC 32 for my next boat.

Just went to the FT lauderdale boat show today and SC was the ONLY boat with an open transom at the whole show in any size except for bay boats.

Just my 2c

I have never fished one before.... But from the folks that I know who have one. They say that the Hull is heavy and it guzzels gas. I'd look toward a yellowfin, those boats can't be beat.

Not Familiar w Conch and Hydra is much more expensive than the SeaCraft. Besides I am looking for a boat that is trailerable.
31 Yellowfin i am not crazy about because the waterline is more like 29'. Great boat though.
At BassPro Dania you can buy a SC 32 with t-top and trailer for 97K.
This is why i am looking at the SC 32. All other comparables are above 120k.

Key features I like.
Flat deck
Gunnel about thigh hight all around boat.
Lots of space for a 32 since there is no Transom Bracket
32' water line because there is no bracket
Not a feather weight boat
Variable deadrise good compromise between ride and stability
Huge deck livewell (90gal) Great for large baits
Great access to pumps
Can put rod holders all around

Dislikes:
Not much storage space
Open transom
I've heard customer service sucks at Tracker marine.
Don't know anyone who has one and never fished one.

Thanks for the input sofar though. Keep it comming!!

beware of bad customer service. When buying a new boat the dealer almost becomes your spouse. Any problems you have you will deal with them. IF they are known for lousy service, beware.

Make sure you buy some foul weather gear while you're there, the 32" is one of the wettest boats on the water. (Notice the after market spray rails you see on many of them-even on Spanish Fly??)
