Default Boat Lifts?

Can anybody recomend a lift for a 10,000 lb boat? Also any input on reputable installers in north Palm Beach. Thanks

High Tide lifts... we've had ours (12000 pound lift for a 9500 pound boat) for a good while (6 years) and it works very well. No problems yet!

So far Hi-Tide & Golden seem to be quite popular.

I will also look into S.E. Custom Lifts.

Thanks guys

Default Hurricane Boat Lift

I installed a Hurricane 12,000# lift in North Carolina. Clean looking lift as all cables and winders are between girders. They also have full covers arround motors. I haven't seen very many with full covers. I bought it at the WPB boat show.

That was a feature that we were looking for as well.

Currently we have Octopus Marine installing a 16,000# lift by Boat Lift U.S. America's choice for Boat Lifts: home

Thanks for the info guys

FYI, I used to hang my 24' Topaz with tower from a set of davits. Installed a lift ring on the bow and used a heavy nylon strap with rings at each end and hung from a cross bar at the stern.

Never had a problem. Saved me a ton by not having to install a lift when I already had heavy duty davits.

The lift is actually for my dad's next boat, but I may toss the Topaz up there in the meantime.

Attaboy,
I would love to see some picts of your old boat, as there are not many T24's out there.

Default My Topaz

The first is a 42# king.
The second is one of the pics from the boat trader ad when I sold her.
Wish I still had her today - with a diesel.

It could be. I recall selling it to someone up in the Palm Beach area.

I saw one down this way a couple months ago with no tower and diesel conversion. The diesel was way too small for the boat but he would have been happy to get 15-16K for it.

I read one time that science still doesn't know the half life of a well built fiberglass hull. A major refit on one of these would be a sweet ride at a very reasonable cost. Economical too.
