I went to the factory and although they didnt have a completed one (order to build), the layout, craftmanship, etc was top notch from the ones I saw in production.

They are the old contender hull with the bracket and the price is incredible, without the contender name...

I really see that company doing very well in South Florida... you cant get a 3 piece hull like this for that price...

the owner of the boat has a place in outdoor resort, longkey. like i do, there are a few of them there, 3 31's and like 6-7 25's. only thing ive heared about them is the 25's, if u put big twins on the back, it rides funny. there is a guy with twin 225 yamahas' and he is in the process of selling them and going smaller.

I have a Competition 31 and love it. I actually have it up for sale. The only reason I am selling is they are developing a 38 footer. Feel free to ask any questions.

Here is a link to my boat.

They are pretty nice boats and seems to be built well. I have a buddy that has one (31) now and he has very little time used on the boat I believe he's asking 90K for it. It has twin 250 yamaha four strokes the boat was bought last year. Ivan you know him Eddie that has the white hull blue bottom competition.

I'm highly considering the 25 for my next boat.. really like everything about them.

Was considering twin 150 yamy 4stroke or 175 zuks.

I have the 25 with twin honda 150s.Id go with the twin 175 or 200 zukes. He has the brackett with the wedge degree angle built into it standard now.I had to add them as with most contender style hulls..Great boat!

so the 25 footer rides fine now with the twin 200 4 strokes on it? I'd love the zuk 175's on there.. that would be a sweet ride..

I just hope it comes propped right and tweaked out...

cool... Joey from sundance, really likes this boat with a single 300 on it becuase of the weight distribution.

I really prefer to go twins, since I want to make some long trips...

mike if you go with a used and need wedges, give Charlie a call. check him out at C & A Marine - Home

He just did my buds contender, It really is a must. He also did pop-a-top, skip dana's contender and of course he did the full rebuild on BB-pro vinnie's Ocean Master.
Something to keep in mind...

Vinnie referred him and Charlie replaced our fuel tanks, swapped the aft deck out for lighter material, and recessed two livewell lids on our Ocean Master too. I'm pleased with his work.
