I don't think you can go wrong on any reef in bimini .. especially for hogfish (my favorite).

I use a pole spear.... I can freedive 20 feet or so, especially if I haven't done it in a while, but you can still produce nice fish in shallow water.. especially around the ledges were all the lobster are...

When we scuba dive in about 40 feet and beyond, you see some really big fish, but of course, no spearfishing...
