Default Spearfishing Bimini

Like mentioned before free diving only with a sling. You don't need secret spots. Just follow the current and zig zag. I didn't relalize it either for quite a while but the hogs are thick around 10-20ft. Most make the mistake of trying too deep from spearing in S FL. Swim with the current above what you're stalking and drop only to kill. The sharks are really bad in that area so don't stay in one area long or keep a stringer on you.

If you want Pelagics or large Grouper drop near the wall. I like to follow a float buoy with a block of frozen sqid 70-100' below it. (don't use blood chum). I'm a pretty good free diver and I use a heavy weight to fall to 70 to 100', drop the weight and stalk/shoot. If you haven't tried this do a few dives without trying to shoot anything first. Remember if you shoot a big fish and get rapped, you're probably going to drown. Be careful until you find your rythm since this way is a lot different than scuba spearing in the states...
