My friends, the video doesnt say that they fished in the Bahamas or that they were in Bahimian waters, and at no point do you see the islands in the video unless I am mistaken.
Check the location of the other side of the gulfstream two weeks ago, several boats got into Tuna other than Chris. My friend Armen checked in to Lucaya and fished for Tuna for a day with no luck, spent the night there, and fished the Bahimian waters with no luck the next morning, and it was not until he was clear of Bahimian waters that he found the Tuna in the middle of the next day. In fact, I know of two yellowfin Tuna that weekend that were caught right out front.
The other side of the gulf stream is what it is, the other side of the gulf stream.
As for violating catch limits, I am just going to point out that once you cross that magical boundary and are not fishing in Bahimian waters you are allowed to keep 10 dolphin per person and 3 Tuna per person.
Jr., the above information is correct. The only thing you may want to know is that the 12 miles in the channel is if you were to draw a line from West End to Bimini, 12 miles out from that, it is not 12 miles from shore if I am correct. If you like to hunt the Tuna, you should get the Cruising Permit as suggested, it will save you some hassle.
