Hey, wehre abouts in SA you generally fish?
Im new to Sharking, got a little game rod ugly stick Shakespeare ugly boat for cheap it came with some 10kg line that I think I will be replacing due to a lost fish
The line looked like a rubber band that had been overstretched, may have been due to my inexperience and had the drag on too tight? Nevertheless what ever took my bait ripped a few hundred meters of line off in a matter of seconds almost (might of got into the current or something cos it was ok before).
Was thinking about maybe some strong braid for the main line then topping off with a 100 or so yards of tough mono. Not sure yet still reading up on things. I fish from a jetty BTW.
