Just wanted to post a report on my trip. The weather was alright with a lot of wind waves not to bad was able to yak my bait out two days. Hooked 6ft+ off the beach but was unable to land him he put on a great show and came out of the water 3X
cleared the beach in about 5 min. Then headed north to Flagler pier and caught some small hammers and 3 BT about 4 1/2ft
Had one big one go under to pier and while I tried pull him out he bit though my leader(next time I'll use heavier wire)
Had a great time and met some good guy to fish with.Just don't try to fish during the day at the pier the KING fishers get mad.
