The only problem with catching swords unexpectedly while fishing nearshore, is it's most likely illegal for folks to kill 'em. Unless they also target tuna or swords, most anglers don't have HMS permits for their boats. Even boats that target sailfish or marlin don't need the permit unless they plan to keep 'em... which is highly discouraged anyway.[/quote]
