Jason the best way is to wrap the rubber band around 4 times then grab both ends and attach the LL clip. then attach the LLclip to the mainline. If you pull one end thru the other and pull tight, it is a bitch to get the band off. This way when you unclip the LL clip the rubber falls off and you don't miss a beat. my .02.
