You all have very good points, both pros and cons, no matter what ones opinions might be. I’m neither a tree huggin hippie nor a poacher (just an obsessed angler), but IMO if it was a delicacy, would you be dragging it behind your dump truck? I highly doubt any of you get the truck or ATV, and drag your swords to the cutting table. After reading all the articles on how to properly handle tuna for sushi or sashimi (most of them coming from the Japanese) I can’t believe they can honestly argue it is a delicacy. To me it just looks like over exploitation and unethical methods of fishing. Just my 2 cents. Keep up the great posts and opinions. Everyone has their opinion and shouldn’t be judged for that, but a friendly argument helps us get through the 9-5.
