#1 Pigs cows and sheep are all mammals.
#2 Studies have shown pigs have an equivalent intelligence as dolphins.
#3 I agree that the slaughter should be more humane, along the lines of a commercial slaugherhouse, If this was implimented would you modifiy your position?
#4 Have you actually eaten Dolphin? If not they how can you judge their quality as a food source.
#5 Mankind has, and still does, exploit animals for many reasons regardless of their relationship to mankind.
Although I agree with your sentiment, I have to support Socal somewhat also.
Just becasue we don't agree with using dolphins for food does not mean it is inherently wrong.
There are cultures that have no issue with dogs being a food source, do you show the same outrage for this? There are many people who would put their pets before even other people.
In short, my point is this is not simply a black and white, wrong vs. right issue. I would prefer that it not take place, but that doesn't mean I'm completely right.
