I'm a rigging rookie but tried it a few weeks ago. Got everything right per instructions except hook placement. Tried your way but couldn't get it to lay right. I ended up aligning the bottom of the hook to pass between the eyes, so the hook is a little farther forward than your instructions. Fished them on a slow night, so nothing landed. Got a couple slashed - the fish seemed to prefer the dark blue Dasani caps.
