Reefling, I like / respect Ernie on Baby Grand,. He is a GREAT captain, and has some AWESOME days on the troll. If someone asks for a good charter out of LWI, Ernie (Baby Grand), Boomer (Boomerang)& Stan are all VERY good options.

But to tell people to expect 14 to 22 fish locally on "secret #'s, is mis-leading IMHO
Conditions change daily, & fish MOVE following bait & migratory routes etc.
IE Ernie may bang 10 or 12 fish on a rip one day, and it is gone 4 hrs later.


Ausum, you are 100% correct. San Sal is the MECCA for LARGE fish.
Have boated several in 80-90lb range, but the 100lb fish eluded us when the sharks moved in & left 42lb head.
