QQ,
Not selling them, just making a light for myself since I dont have one and it is the cheaper way to go. I still had some extra stuff laying around from back in the day so I decided to put it to good use. I was searching on the internet for some sort of plastic mirror insert but havent found sheeting yet. The difficulty will be getting it to stay down with all the air volume in it, its going to need alot of weight and most likely two seperate cords. I put styrafoam on the bottom as a shock absorber, and then cut a perfect circle with a hole saw to wedge in their and keep the bulbs seperate from each other. The swordfishing lights all break when the bulb touches the clear tubing or anything for that matter. That is why Swordlights are the best product hands down. They have a smaller diameter bulb so when it is dropped there is less possibility that the bulb touch each other or the clear tubing.
Ideally, if one were to build the ultimate light it would be made out of glass. As a material, glass allows a signifigantly greater amount of light(lumens I believe they are called

) to pass through it than the plastic that are used today. Even more ideally, would be a glass tube that is distorted. In other words, if instead of a cylindrical tube shape, it was all "triangular mountains" so to speak, the light would be focused and spread much further, but not as uniform. I have scene other homemade versions of a light like this.
Anyways, Ill post a pic in a couple of weeks (after my 15 pg memo to the court

).
