To say tinkers have been in short supply this winter is an understatement. This is probably the least I have ever seen here in all my years of swordfishing. This must have something to do with the riduculously warm weather we have been having. Normally the gulfstream is a few degrees cooler than it is now at this time of year. This may also explain why the fishing is so crappy and why so many fish are holding to the north.
