Thinking about investing in a flying gaff so I'm just wondering what ya'lls preference on hook spread is. With the aftco, I have seen a lot of people with the 8'' and 10'' spread.

I am looking into Top Shot flyers though and I asked the guys at LMR who sell TopShot and they thought the 6'' was plenty for swords. I've seen GIANT $600 hooks in there, and if anyones going to try to sell you something its them, so I found that opinion interesting.

Just looking for ya'lls opinion. I havent seen any brands that offer a "Get a Harpoon" size so no use in throwin that up on the boards and starting that crap over again
