Default gitmo

Hey brother if you are in gitmo still (didnt see the post till now) the snook in the river are easy. Live bait or buck-tail (white) jigs, north west corner of the mouth of the river used to be off the hook if you cold keep the tarpon off the live bait. Use 20lb plus tackle with 50lb leader 20pd or better fish to be expected. Caught quite a few cuberas in that spot as well. Make sure you keep your baits in the main current with enough lead to skip along the bottom. As for the grouper outside, They should be there if you can get block chum put it out and anchor on any bottom structure you can find. The yellow tails will show soon enough catch a small one and send him down on the biggest tackle you got. A tip leave the rod in the holder and crank until he is well off the bottom. If you anchor 100' or more catch a blue runner and put him out with a balloon with a little wire and see if the wahoo are holding behind your chum slick. They used to do that. Make sure you can get off the anchor in hurry there are some fat ones out there that will spool a 750ss in a hurry. Hope this helps. I know it tough to fish down there "they" keep you pretty hand cuffed in regard to where you can go with the boats.
Thank for your service.
