Thanks for all the info guys. While I would love to catch a big one, this trip is more of a just catch your first one no matter the size kinda venture. From what I have read here it seems you guys use rather large gear. I usually bring my own stuff since most stock rods dont fit me well. Is 700 to 750yds of braid to a 100 foot wind on ok. If so my ATD 30's should work fine right? Or are 50s and 80s really required equiptment? Obviously any rigging I will leave to the boat to take care of. Again thanks for all the help.
