SF,i served in the first gulf war (desert storm). i have no sympathy for them either. my emotions tell me i would want their heads cut off in return.and
if it was someone i loved, i would want to do the head cutting. but i have been around long enough to know my emotions does not produce the best results at times.we just simply disagree, lets stop labeling(spineless liberals)
because mccain who we all agree is a war hero, disagree with torture and calls water bording torture. is he a spinless liberal? trust me when i say im one that practice if you smack me i will smack you back two times. it's just as the policy of this great country i think we should be above the trash that do those things. it is our morals that make us great. that is why we are americans.now what troops do on the battle field to stay safe is i'm ok with
(hey i was their). we should not announce that as american policy.

Fair enough Bigsplash, sometimes when I read certain things I just get fired up. I have been over there 3 times so far and I think that might be the reason I get all bent out of shape sometimes. I don't think McCain is a spineless liberal and he can definately speak of torture better than most if any. But I do think there are alot of people that don't understand the severity of the situation overseas and sometimes what it takes to get the job done isn't always pretty. You know the deal.

cheers,

Dave
