The nice part about boating on the southeast coast (above the Keys), is that you're pretty safe running just about anywhere on the ocean once you clear the inlet. If you run aground, it's because you're on the beach! hahaha All ya gotta do is know where the inlets are, and how to enter 'em. Beyond that, there's not much to run into except for other boats.
