Hey everyone I'm a newbie at Sword Fishing. Although I had success on my first trip with 1 landed, two hook ups one of which was lost at the boat, I'm eager to try other ways on rigging squid.

Has anyone tried the Bouncer method where he places the hook through the center of the mantle and sews the eye of the hook to the top of the mantle?

Seems very easy to do and alot less work! He states in his DVD that it has worked best for him with better hook ups
