The artical didn't say, but I have found that when using the lightstick in front method, the lightstick gets swatted. Putting a Transformer inside the bait attracts the bite to the bait its self. I like using the LP flashers up the line.
Don't attach any
light source to your snap-swivel, if the fish swats it, it can open it. Been there, done that. Also make sure you have the
light source on heavy leader line not on the main line, a swat will cut through the 80-100# mian line with ease.
