The drag is controlled by an oversized roller bearing, allowing for drag free retrievals.

Cheaply built but you get what you don't pay for. The drag seems great until you have to use it. On several occassions while fighting a small fish the drag released and line became tangles. May have some use as a back up but not a reliable first reel to use. |
