Carver - Carver Santa Cruz (25'8"): Santa Cruz 2566 We love our Carver, spent several weekends just cruising our local lakes and camping on it. It's so relaxing. Plenty of space for 4 people and very easy to dock, you'ld think it had side thrusters. Small enough to trailer up and down our mountains with out any trouble. Carver - Carver Santa Cruz (25'8"): 1977 Santa Cruz 2566 We are the second owner of this well maintained cruiser. Excellent boat for the family of 4. We
spend weeks aboard and enjoy the space/storage.
Handles the big water very well, great on fuel and
still gets the looks and comments at the dock. We
trailer with a Jeep Grand Cherokee (diesel) and
it's a great handling tow boat. Newer boats
sacrifice room for style. We plan keeping this
boat for a long time. Trim tabs are must for this
boat. Reviewed by Barry L on Mar-08-2012 | Rating: |
Carver - Carver Montego (22'11"): Good older boat Carver built a great little cabin cruiser. Well built, designed and executed. They were the smallest of three Montego's in 1989 so they were outshined by the bigger siblings. Now rather rare they look like a minature yacht. Reviewed by Tom Dually on Dec-02-2011 | Rating: |
Carver - Carver Santa Cruz (25'8"): Santa Cruz 26 I have a 1977 Carver 2556. This is an excellent pocket yatch. The design and styling are timeless and do not look as dated as the 80's and 90's sedans with the funky decors. The fiberglass is twice the thickness of most other boats. The 260 merc is very reliable and economic. Never had a problem just turn the key. I get lots of folks stopping by to have a look. Their comments are all the same "They just do not make them like this any more". I would highly recommend this model. Cheers, Tim. Reviewed by Tim Groff on Sep-14-2011 | Rating: |
