Riviera with Hardtop

I have a 1985 Carver Riviera 28 footer with the factory hardtop.. Has two hatches for lots of airflow through the cabin/salon areas. Mine also has the single screw 454 Crusader with 350 HP. Great boat, lots of room. Hard top is the way to go if you can find one. I have owned it for 16 years. Fresh water kept. If interested I can tell you more.

Biggest bang for the buck

I recently purchased a 28 Riviera and found the boat the most boat for the size and dollar. My Riviera has all the aminities of much larger boats. In adddition to the standard features, my boat had been retrofitted with a wKW Kohler generator and 2 Twin Chev 350 Crusaders totaling 440 HP. After some refirbishment in the areas of re-upholstery, new canvas, a complete bottom job and some minor engine room house cleaning, I have a wonderful boat to spend time on in style, comfort and class. I rate it one of the best bargains for the size, amenities and quality of boat. The boat handles like a dream. The transmissions are Velver Drives with shafts. The boat is easy to handle. I fell in love with the boat at first site! The floor plan is awesome for a 28 footer. The salon can be easily decorated up or down depending on your theme. Mine is above average plush.
