Great Bay BoatGreat little bay boat, keeps me dry even in medium chop. 1999 Honda 130 HP is plenty of power. The boat is a little sluggish on the turns, but otherwise handles fine and is an excellent ride with 2 people.
Being light it is very sensitive to weight shifts at any speeds. Try finding one of these used. They are scarce because people hang on to them more than the Whaler fans, which is no match for this boat.

fineI bought this boat new 2001. I like the boat very much. The Hull is light and will float 1-2ft no problem.
Equiped with the Yamaha F115. Great motor. It cost me more to pull my boat than it does to run it all weekend.Mine will handle 3ft seas easy. Only wish it was a little more stable.

Rides RoughVery fast and liht but hard and rough in any kind of swell. Even three foot waves bounce you around. A good bay boat but stay inside on anything over three feet.

An Awesome & Affordable BoatI bought this boat because I was tired of driving 2+ hours to Winnipasaukee or 5+ hours to Champlain. Narragansett Bay and the Atlantic Ocean are just down the road. This boat isn't given any respect but it outhandles boats 3X the price. I've handled 6ft swells with no problem with this boat. My previous boat was a high performance bass boat and this ride is very similar. It handles well and is a relatively dry ride compared to it's competition. I love mine and suspect you will also.
