Bluewater Fishing Boats 2350

Details:
The 23 Bluewater Fishing Boat performs just as well as their 21, but add the 2 feet and you get a much bigger boat. We noticed the size difference throughout the boat, but again this single engine offshore fishing machine performs very well in moderate chop. The boats unique 24 degree transom deadrise is in a class of it's own. We like the lack of forward seating that allows anglers to run up front to fight fish while pressed up against the gunnel. "A proven 24 degree deep vee hull design coupled with outstanding design features make this one mean fishing machine. Onboard you'll find five large fully lined fish boxes, (16) rods, a transom mounted 28 gallon circulating live well and one of the largest aft cockpits on any boat in its class. The console offers lockable electronics storage and features a walk-in side door for storage or an optional head. With the large 130 gallon fuel tank and options of single or twin power the 2350 is the boat to take you where the action is. "

Got Me A Used 23

I have been in the market for single engine 23 footer and the bluewater was the best bet. I picked up a 2005 with an etec on it for 50k. I to am seeing air voids in the hull up in the bow. I dont like the step up in the hull as my fiend stub their tows quite often.. that deck should be all one level like a contender or conch. Anyways.. for the money it is a good boat!

Overall boat and Customer Service

The 2350 is a great riding and it has plenty of storage and comfort. The 2350 is a versatile fishing boat, and the fishability is not just limited to one kind of fishing style. I have a 250 Suzuki motor on my bluewater and we have reached the speed of 47 mph and the Suzuki is powerful enough in any boating situation.

The only issue with bluewater is the company with the regards of customer services and the location of the factory. For many people the factory is over 2 hours away and when you have a problem the factory isn’t around the corner.

The customer services issues are with warranty work. Our boat is still under the one year warranty, and we got treated as if the boat is not under warranty. Bluewater decided what THEY wanted to fix not what we needed to be fixed. We even had issues with air voids in the hull and in the deck and thinning of the gel coat on one side of the hull side. We needed warranty work with our Bennett trim tab control box that is in the bulge. The control box is all rusted because our livewell pump was improperly installed and leaked in the bulge which caused the box to rust. Bluewater felt it was not their responsibility to fix it. We had other little issues in the boat that they didn’t want to fix and it truly little dumb things. It’s easy to make customers happy and its bad customer service that demolish a good relationship between client and company.

I do love my bluewater and the dumb little well, we will have to fix that ourselves even though the boat is still under warranty…Should you expect that with a factory direct boat worth more than $60,000 well you Decide.
