Bayliner boats are cheap and poorly designed
I am a custom canvas fabricator and upholsterer who gets stuck trying to design enclosures and interiors for these cheap, thrown together disposable boats. They design the hulls and upper decks with no thought to functionality. Their generic canvas products shrink and otherwise don't fit properly. They use modular designs and it is almost impossible to remove the upholstery for recovery. The interior side panels are glued on, not screwed on, so in order to recover them , I have to risk breaking the the panel board. The settee's are very difficult to remove, etc, etc.
Although it's true Bayliner makes boats available to people who otherwise could not afford a boat, that does not change the fact that under the surface appearance is pure junk!
