My Second 175 Aquasport Osprey

I purchased both of my Aquasports used. The first, an 80's model had a 90 Mercury, the one I own now is a 2003 with a 90 Johnson. It was a few years between boats, but I came back to the one I grew to love. Great rise in the bow to take the chop I get in Lake Ponchartrain and the Rigolets. Has a pumpout fish box, live bait well and all the storage I need. The 90 pushes it 32 to 35 knots and has never failed me. I do use Marine Stabil at every fillup for a lot of reasons and I don't have to have a Ford F250 Diesel to tow it. My six cylinder GMC Envoy does just fine.

17.5 FELLS LIKE A 20 FT.

The aquasport is an excellent boat I have 5 kinds of boats and my aquasport is very solid I fly from wave to wave and it handles great!

Still a quality boat

I have had my 17 aquasport since 1986 and have used in every since. She cuts the waves nice and always gets us home safe. I love the layout and easy to trailer.

Great 17 Footer For the Money

We bought this boat used for 3,000. Had to put a new floor in it, as it is a 1980 hull. She rides very good and with a 115hp engine, we found the the boat to fly and be efficient.

good sport

In Jersey we have some of the largest tides in the world.With the shallow draft of the osprey I can fish in areas that I wouldn't normally think of fishing with other boats on the market that size. She is a great sea boat for her length and feels more like a twenty footer rather than 17.5, great boat
